I ran across this scripture about the town of Salamis in one of my quiet times. This is yet another peek into my very imaginative and quirky mind (I shared a peek here when I pictured Jesus singing Jay-Z and Taylor Swift). I really would love a town of salamis…and cheeses…and chocolates…

Many of you may have seen this awesome Dover Police dashcam video that recently went viral. (Click here for an alternative link to view the video.) This officer knows how to shake, shake, shake, shake, shake…shake it off, shake it off! I thought this was a fitting Funny Friday post this week to accompany our Shake That Dirt Off Your Sandal post–who knew Jesus, Jay-Z and Taylor Swift had such wisdom in common. 🙂

This past Monday, my 4 year old niece kept asking my sister where the presents were. My sister kept telling her that it was NOT her birthday and that she already received her Valentine’s present. She continued to be very persistent about the presents. My sister, thinking my niece was being very ungrateful, finally asked her, “Why do you keep asking for presents?!” To which my niece replied, “You told me it was Presents Day!”
